Family was very important to Martyn. Spending time with Jody and his girls but also time with his brother, sister-in-law and parents. 

Trying to pick a favourite out of the many meals out, takeaway nights at Martyn and Jo's, and Sunday lunch and games at either brother's house is very difficult. 

One of the most special memories I have is Christmas 2013 - my first Simmonds Christmas. It was spent at Martyn and Colin's childhood home on the Isle of Wight.

It was Christmas eve - The girls were asleep; Colin took his place in front of the fire; Keith was falling asleep in his chair; Martyn, Jody and I were sat around the table finishing off the girls Christmas presents joking about who's attempt at decorating letters for their bedrooms was more successful and Liz had made festive treats.

I will always fondly recall the teasing, laughter and happiness we shared that Christmas.
